About the Photographer

Samuel cut his teeth as a photojournalist at The Straits Times’ picture desk for half a decade. 

Since then, he has worked on corporate photographs, brand videos and documentaries for the likes of Apple, Changi Airport, Getty Images, Mediacorp, Temasek and DBS. 

He is a founding advisor on the board of Our Grandfather Story, Singapore’s most well-loved micro-documentary content publisher.
 
Once a week, he teaches photojournalism and documentary classes at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information and the School of Art, Design and Media at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
